Question 7: Recycling & Sustainability

Fayetteville has long been a leader in protecting our environment, but some areas of our city still don’t have nearby recycling access. Aging facilities, heavy use, and new state requirements mean upgrades are needed.

On March 3, 2026, Fayetteville voters will decide whether to continue an existing one-cent sales tax to raise $335 million for city improvements, WITHOUT RAISING TAXES.

Question 7 is about recycling and safe disposal. It would fund a new Recycling Drop-Off Facility and a Household Hazardous Waste Facility, along with other needed improvements. That means more convenient recycling options and a safer, dependable place to take household hazardous waste.

A cleaner, greener future doesn’t happen by accident; it takes planning. This bond helps Fayetteville meet today’s needs and protect our environment for years to come.
